The Machinegebouw (335 m2) is perfect for parties and small events

The Machinegebouw (Machine Building) comprises a large space of 268 m2 (‘the large hall’) and a small space of 60 m2 (‘the chapel’). It was renovated in 2005 and all basic facilities were fitted including toilets, a kitchen and a small production or dressing-room. The Machinegebouw is suitable for presentations, exhibitions, weddings, dinners and other smaller events. The Machinegebouw dates from 1885 and was the heart of the factory. Here the gas was pumped all over the site. The Machine Building is standing on its own in the ‘ street’ between the Oostelijk Meterhuis (furnished as a meeting room) and the Westelijk Meterhuis (café De Espressofabriek) and is facing the Zuiveringshal. The building has entrances on the north and south sides. This makes it possible to combine indoor activities with activities on the site or with other buildings.
