The Transformatorhuis (700 m2) is ideal for representative parties and presentations

The Transformatorhuis (Trafo-house) is part of the Transformatorgebouw (Trafo-building) and has had different functions. In the early days of the factory, there was a watergas-factory. Later it housed the energy company’s workshops. The curved trusses in the roof construction and the narrow, high-placed windows create a sacred atmosphere. Because of the atmosphere, the shape and the dimensions, the Transformatorhuis is used a lot for theatrical performances, dinners and parties. Visitors can come eat, drink and dance at the nearby WestergasTerrace. Events can make use of the professional catering kitchen of the WestergasTerrace, as well as their fully equiped party-hall of 500 m2 and wedding-hall of 230 m2. The Gasometer, the Trafo-house and the WestergasTerrace are located around a plaza. It is possible to rent these locations, for an event, all at the same time.
