If you're looking for an adventurous, unpolished venue for an event, then the Westergasfabriek Culture Park is worth a visit. Art and culture form the basis of this down-to-earth industrial complex close to the centre of Amsterdam. The new energy is tangible for everyone who visits for work, play, exercise, entertainment or events.

Anything goes

Just about anything goes in these historic buildings; from a photo shoot to major audience events, from weddings to exclusive product presentations. The venues available for a temporary hire are: the magnificent circular Gashouder (Gasometer), the lovely Transformatorhuis (Trafo House), the impressive Zuiveringshal (Purification Hall), the plain Openbare Verlichting (Public Lighting), the light Zuiveringshal Oost (Purification Hall East), the intimate Machinegebouw (Machine Building) and the small Oostelijk Meterhuis (Eastern Meter House).

Facilities

All buildings have basic facilities, advanced Internet facilities, black-out, toilets and subrooms. Public facilities such as the cinema (3 viewing rooms) and the music club (wel equipped music stage) are also available for events.

Suppliers

You are free to choose your own suppliers. If needed, we are happy to advise you in choosing the most suitable suppliers for your goal. 
 

Public space

The outdoor spaces such as the quayside, the larger meadow or the gardens of the park can also be used for events. Using the public space usually requires a special permit. We are happy to help you acquire the necessary permits.
