The first edition of PITCH in Amsterdam’s Westergasfabriek Culture Park will be taking place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July. PITCH is aimed at lovers of progressive electronic music and the programme is packed with a large number of live bands. The first acts to be confirmed include Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer and Crystal Fighters.

PITCH is an adventurous and intimate festival in the heart of Amsterdam that anticipates developments in the pop and dance scene. There is a current trend among DJs and producers to put full bands on stage instead of using only a laptop or DJ mixer. The festival will be focusing on genres such as dubstep, beats, deep house, pop, disco, UK funky, jazz and electronica.

PITCH will occupy three venues: Westerunie, Trafo House (Transformatorhuis) and the Gasholder. The Westerliefde, the Westergasterras and the nearby square will also be part of the festival. There will be enough room for 4000 visitors.  On Saturday 9 July, PITCH opens at 13.00 and will continue until 05.00 the following morning, including the night programme.  On the following day, Sunday 10 July, the festival programme runs from 13.00 to 23.00.
Day tickets and weekend passes are available.
