Venues hired empty always include basic facilities such as toilets, heating, ventilation, work lighting and blackout screens. Organizers can then equip or decorate the venue as they prefer and use their own technicians and caterers.
A fitted out venue is one that is ready to receive guests – with staff present, catering complete and all furnishings and equipment in place. See also the Package Deal box on the right of this page.
All prices exclude VAT and include post-event clean-up, water charges and a manager who is on call during the event. Energy usage will be included in the final bill.
West Amsterdam district council manages and operates the outdoor area. There are two different rates for hiring this space.
1. Hire of outdoor space combined with a building: €1.50 per m2, build-up and breakdown days 50%, non-operational days 30%.
2. Hire of outdoor space, without building. The district council has three rates for this form of hire.
